1、 The scale of corn straw collection and storage points is relatively small, and most of them are purchased by individual farmers
The scale of this corn stalk collection and storage site is not large. There are already two cars waiting. After chatting with an uncle waiting to sell straw, we learned that this collection and storage point was purchased by a farmer who needed feed. The corn straw collected needs to be crushed and stored. The straw seller is responsible for throwing the straw in bundles on the agricultural tricycle! For workers at the acquisition point Straw crusher Crushing is time-consuming and laborious. Although it's more than one kilo and two cents, it's very labor-intensive to tie it up from the ground, and then pull it in by car, and then help others to unload it slowly. It's not appropriate to sell only one car a day, and the couple plus a car, which is more than 100 yuan a day. At present, there are three collection and storage points in this town, all of which are prepared by cattle farmers for winter feed. The basic storage capacity is not large and the digestion space is limited. As for the large-scale enterprises that make full use of straw, there is none in the local area at present!
2、 Straw returning to the field has a long way to go
Although the current corn harvest is mechanized, and corn straw is directly ploughed back to the field, because we have only eight parts of land per capita, and the average plot of each household is only 2 mu. In some fields, trees are still planted in some fields, so the combine harvester is not willing to work. Only when no one is using it can we harvest these. Of course, there is a larger factor is the harvest cost of 80 yuan per mu, which many people are reluctant to give up. Unlike wheat, corn is cheap and subsidies are low. Therefore, many corn still need to be harvested by farmers themselves, leading to the failure of returning corn straw to the field.
3、 Corn straw doesn't enter the village directly
At present, the burning of corn straw is prohibited, and it is not allowed to enter the village. Every day, there are all the road cleaners in the village. Once someone pulls corn stalks into the village, the village cleaners will certainly dissuade them. In addition, every family cooks with electricity or natural gas, so corn stalks are basically useless! Some villagers choose to use corncobs or twigs to heat water. There are a lot of green trees on both township roads and rural roads, which need to be cleaned and pruned every year. Many branches are picked up by villagers and used for boiling water!
I have seen on TV that corn straw has many uses. It can be used to make silage and fuel. But these enterprises are basically in the northeast region where corn planting is concentrated. In many rural areas, corn straw is still discarded as a kind of idle resources. It is hoped that one day, these resources can be fully utilized and farmers' income can be increased.
How should these corn stalks play their due value and what are the good methods? Why do farmers choose to throw away corn straw? What do you think?
